CHRISMA

The ""I Cigliuti"" agricultural company was founded in 2016 with the putting into production of resources already existing on the property and with the identification of new areas to be used for different crops.

It takes the name of the hill, called ""i Cigliuti"", on which there is an imposing palace that dominates the valley towards the sea, surrounded by approximately 130 hectares of land, owned by the Soffritti family.

There are already olive groves with around 7300 olive trees, an apple orchard and several fruit trees.

Three areas have been identified, close to the Palistro river which runs alongside the property, fertile for sowing turnip greens and broad beans.

In the property, purchased in the 60s by Mr. Soffritti, in addition to the palace, considered the family's summer residence, other buildings are found such as the shepherd's house inhabited in the past by the farmer who took care of the lands and animals and other structures used as stables and barns.

In the Cilento National Park, the ""I Cigliuti"" hill is a locality in Petrosa, a hamlet of Ceraso, about 10 km from the sea and the archaeological site of Velia.

The company extends territorially for approximately 70 hectares in the municipality of Ceraso and the remaining part in the municipality of Vallo della Lucania.

-120 hectares of gentle slopes, sunny floors and different exposures to sun and wind in which, respecting Mother Nature's wishes, centuries-old olive trees and young plants alternate with orchards surrounded by forestation and pastures.

-80 hectares are dedicated to forestry, because respect for the territory begins with the conservation and growth of what is in all respects a heritage to be protected.

-25 those in which the Pisciottane olives follow the Coratine.

-8 dedicated to the Fico Bianco del Cilento.

-1 reserved for the orchard divided between rows of blackberries and raspberries and a small walled area in which the ancient lemon house is being reborn.

-to finish the remaining 6, somewhat scattered, winter residence of Podolian cows.

It enjoys a position thanks to which it is possible to admire the entire gulf of the coast.

The company's main objective is to place on the organic products market.
