KONTESSA

It is 1930, in Buti, a small town on the Pisan mountains, a candle shines and Giuseppe intertwines with his wrinkled hands. Chestnut branches turn into baskets. Create. Year 1960, in the same small Tuscan village. A small laboratory and inspiration. Ilo collected the legacy of the father -in -law with full hands. No more ""baskets"" but bags. The first collection blossoms. 1985, still here in the place of the roots and affections, Simona and Marisa, the daughters, set an all -female direction. They embrace the heritage of human values, experience and attachment with new dedication and strong will. In 1989 a name materializes, Kontessa, not just bags and accessories. A team composed almost by women alone. A creative and research study, a prototype laboratory, a large production and shipping space, an administrative and commercial office, a large corporate showroom, many departments that work in synergy.
