About Lang Cui Lu – Driftwood Village

Every year during the rainy season, large quantities of discarded natural wood drift downstream from the mountains of Quang Nam via the Thu Bon River to the shores of Hoi An, carrying with it a wealth of cultural stories.

With the mission of transforming discarded pieces of driftwood into beautiful works of art, imbued with the historical and cultural stories of Vietnam and its people, Lang Cui Lu – Driftwood Village was born. From the hands and creative minds of the local artisans of the Kim Bong Carpentry Village, each piece is a unique, handmade expression of Vietnamese craftsmanship and pride.
