Art-House Candle

It all began in 2009, when Fabrizio D'Eramo, creator of this activity, moved to Rome where he began his adventure in the field of craftsmanship at just 19 years old. In the laboratories of the capital, he acquired experience and experimented with innovative techniques until he became a Master of Art. In 2016 he decided to return to L'Aquila, his city, to start his ambitious project: ART-HOUSE CANDLE, where creativity, beauty and art meet to fascinate and make each space unique.

ART-HOUSE CANDLE is a laboratory where handcrafted candles are made using innovative techniques combined with traditional.

In addition to the classic techniques of engraving, drawing and sculpture, in the last stages of creation (decoration or finishing) innovative machinery is also used, which allows the creation of one-of-a-kind works. The processing of raw materials makes use of ancient artisan techniques: the materials are melted in a bain-marie, colored and perfumed and subsequently the ""basic shapes"" are obtained from molds made in turn by hand.

Some of the products have a particularity in their use that distinguishes them from classic candles. In fact, these are wax containers which, once the candle inside them is lit and the right amount of water is added to the bottom, become unique design objects: they let the light shine through, they also smell and can be used endlessly. .

Despite everything, not only candles are created, in fact in the ArtHouse Candle laboratories they also create design objects, furnishing accessories such as wax vases, metal supports and wax lamps, all handmade hand.

Furthermore, the initiative also has an eco-sustainable character, giving a new dignity to the objects we surround ourselves with: no longer mass-produced, but unique pieces , with a story to tell. A story that will never end: every consumed candle, or broken object, can have new life in the hands of the craftsman.
