Kathmandu in Provence

Located at the foot of the Himalayas, in the Kathmandu Valley, the Newar culture developed through the flow of peoples it encountered throughout its history. Community of mixed race from its travels (Tibetan Indochinese) and ethnic Buddhist, it has been recognized for its crafts (fabric, jewelry, painting, statue...) for centuries. It is a know-how that mixes finesse, poetry and patience, love, faith and spirituality. True devotion dedicated to achievement. Whatever the field of craftsmanship chosen, we are recognized for the seriousness and quality of our production. Our work is family oriented: we find, create and produce within our community. In Asian trade for a long time, we have developed our art for the West for twenty years. It is a fair, familiar, sensible system that has existed since the beginning of our history and we want to continue this way for our future generations.
