From an early age I loved to observe my grandmother at work. It was serious, meticulous and always calm. My grandmother was a seamstress. The Venezuela of the 80s was the most beautiful place in the world to live, it was then. Its colors, the Meltin 'Pot of people and cultures. Venezuela was a paradise of extraordinary creative verve, then. Like many of my peers, I was sent by parents to study in Italy, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo before, design school in Milan immediately after. In Milan I deepened fashion and drawing, but my curiosity was increasingly attracted to jewels and their thousand stylistic facets. I was lucky enough to have been called by two large signatures. But that luck would not have been enough to pay me the rent. The great signatures do not have the daily economy of their craftsmen very much. Artisans should love each other more. Theater companies are quite another thing, and I started sewing stage clothes for some of them. And after several tours © and I found love, a splendid land such as Sicily, the spaces and the light -heartedness to transform my dreams into reality.
