SALUMIFICIO ZAHRE - AMPEZZO E SAURIS-
After several years of experience in the food sector, in 2016 Elvis and Alessandra had the opportunity to undertake their own business. From the passion for the work that has always distinguished them, the Zahre Salumificio di Ampezzo was born, in which fresh and seasoned salami are produced. Present in Sauris since 2019 at the Zahre ham, the production expanded with the famous ham of Sauris IGP, a flagship of the product range. Sauris' business shop is open to tourists and visitors eager to taste and buy the products of the ham together with other local specialties, to be discovered in the territory where they are born. With particular attention to raw materials, the predilection of manual production processes and simple and natural recipes, the sausage factory represents the innovation of the Norcina tradition that has always characterized the cured meats of Carnia. In Zahre products there is a whole world of perfumes, history and flavors that through the coniferous woods and the deficit of the Val Lumiei, lead to perceiving the fresh currents of the lake and the hot embers of the houses in winter, to surprise at the table.
