Volcano Gin

The idea was born about 4 years ago, the Gin begins to be one of the most consumed witty drinks in the world and the Gin Tonic one of the most popular aperitifs ever. On Etna starting from 1800 msl there are huge spontaneous juniper stains that grow and mature on volcanic rock (therefore with an extremely mineral and distinctive character). Until then, no one in Sicily had thought of producing a similar product, and in that inconstant we have taken the awareness that our territory deserved that those extraordinary raw materials were worked and transformed into what from the first moment wanted to be a product Extraordinarily beautiful and good premium! On an afternoon in March during a walk between the skiing of Etna we decide to bottle smells, perfumes and intoxicated aromas of that spring sunset. Volcano Gin is conceived as a great wine. Accurate is the choice of botanists who mix one by one while maintaining their personality, intervening on the product exclusively, making it unique and precious as what brought it on her womb: Etna. Floral and fruity character, aromaticity, acidity and freshness, structure and roundness, persistence and balance, are all elements that are found in a large bottle. Volcano is thought to drink especially alone, as a digestive at the end of the meal where he is appreciated for softness and fragrance but also becomes a precious and stimulating ingredient in mixing. The search for elegance has always been at the center of the project. In the local conception, Etna is considered a female entity and it is to this particular audience that our effort has been dedicated, to offer a product with kind and soft features the minerality of the Etna juniper is exalted both on the palate and the nose. Our reference botanist is the Ginestra flower which, from the organoleptic point of view, gives an interesting contrast between sweet and bitter. The wild fennel releases aromatic and herbaceous notes that give vigorous perfumes and flavors. Bitter orange gives freshness and acidity for a pleasant drink. The hazelnut embraces all the previous botanists giving balance, fatness, roundness and structure. This Gin is a tribute to the extraordinary territory of Etna. For this reason his packaging wants to reveal himself precious and intriguing. The bottle from the powerful glass recalls the unforgettable period of the ""Prohibition era"", the era in which the wise search for drinking well begins. The cap, hand designed by a local craftsman, is made with Etnea volcanic sand so that a piece of Etna can travel with every single bottle of Volcano Gin, wherever it goes, flights or stays. The simple but refined label offers bas -relief games that recall capricious lava drawings. We focus a lot on crafts also producing an exclusive and limited edition line of hand -painted bottles (each of it unique and unrepeatable and made mainly on request). It took 2 years for the realization of the packaging and the definition of the recipe - 67 official tests before closing the definitive percentages. The processing method is the Cold Compounding (cold maceration of each botanist and subsequent assemblage). We went out on the market in July 2018 and we are present in all the Sicilian provinces and the most important Italian regions. We closed agreements with importers in America, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Germany and Belgium.
