L'Atlante dei Bottoni

The Atlas of the buttons is an artisan-cultural project born in 2014 which aims to give life to dictionaries and school texts intended for pocal. The individual definitions of each word are selected by dictionaries of the 1800s and early 1900s, cut out and reassembled and then associated with a background from school texts and illustrated encyclopedias, consistently with the shape and size of each accessory. Each piece is therefore unique and not reproducible as it is made only with original fragments. Our accessories are the result of a philosophy of life that tends to restore centrality to objects that are normally perceived as ""waste materials"", but which for us have a very high historical and cultural value. Each element of our accessories is well -kept and carefully chosen to satisfy any need, the materials we use are in fact totally without lead and nickel and this makes them completely hypoallergenic.
