TAMBURELLISTI DI TORREPADULI

Since 1990, Torrepaduli's tambourists seek in the field of traditional Salento music by intertwining various languages. The theoretical aspect is curated by Pierpaolo De Giorgi, founder of the group, writer and promoter of various texts, who looks at popular music from a philosophical-theoric perspective. The tambourists tighten relationships with various countries of the world, thanks to the frenetic rhythm of the ""pizzica pizzica"" they propose the ancient Tambourine technique and after absorbing it they develop a progressive technique, bringing it on stage in various artistic contexts on the world scene. Rocco Luca, a co-founder of the collective, is the official manufacturer of Tamburelli, which we will bring to the craftsman at the fair and of which we will illustrate the technique with great pleasure.
