COLTELLERIA L'ARBURESA

COLTELLERIA L'ARBURESA

Arburesa: a long love story The cutlery The Arburesa was born in the 1960s when the grandfather Mario Pusceddu begins full-time knife activity followed by his six children. Among these are distinguished by skill, expertise and artistic sensitivity Paolo and Franco leading forward, developing it, paternal activity. Arbus, in the south-western side of Sardinia, is today a reference point of the crotching art, with a series of well-recognizable knives for original shape and finish. In tribute to this long tradition the brothers Paul and Franco wanted to call Arburesa his own production of knives, who look to tradition but also to the reality of the knife, or to actual use, to strength and efficacy in work. Cutlery The Arburesa Heirs Pusceddu The cutlery The Arburesa Heirs Pusceddu F. distinguishes its knives based on their use: pointed and elongated blades with agile grip for shing knives; The most casky and generous ones in the handle for the skin knives, models in ancient bay leaf shape or in a more modern version with straight blade. The handles can be in classic horn of mouflon, mutton, buffalo, cattle or in olive wood or juniper. Arburesa has gone more and more specializing in the production of valuable knives, real works of art, which express the taste for art alongside the effectiveness. In this direction the recent line is placed the limited edition Arburesa 2000 (1000 pieces) created exclusively for amateurs and collectors. Our cutlery also proposes other models with a special finish whose handle is decorated artistically with sculptures related to the themes of hunting and nature. Rich in charm is also the realization of knives with damask blades. In addition to these fine collectible knives, the production of the Arburesa also includes more sober knives expressly created for work: models that more than all express the knife bond with man-hunter and man-shepherd. With a production to respect the tradition and an eye addressed to innovation, Arburesa has been able to bring an ancient art back to the fore. Leave to Italy and the world masterpieces of high craftsmen who had not passed the boundaries of Sardinia for centuries . To date, after the disappearance of Franco Pusceddu took place in 2013, the Cutlery The Arburesa Heirsa Pusceddu F. is followed by his sons Giulia and Michele and his precious maximum collaborator. The future projects of the cutlery predict the production of knives that respect the Sardinian tradition but also an increase in more innovative and modern models such as knives with block or snap.
