RUPEROSSA
The company Ruperossa was born in 2020 in Gangi (most beautiful village in Italy 2014) in the heart of Sicily, in the Natural Park of Madonie, all this thanks to the interprentification of a young entrepreneur, Giuseppe dongarrà . We mainly deal with the production and bottling of oil produced in the family lands, the result of experience and love for this land that has been broadcast by our AVI. Inside the company there are secular plants but also a young plant. Among the olive trees cultivated at an altitude that varies From 600 to 900 meters S.L.M we find exclusively Sicilian cultivars like Verdello La Nocellara Messinese, La Moresca La Biancellilla Biancellotta, La Tonda Iblea, the Crasta and the Nocellara del Belice. Selected olives, one for one, collected in the second half of October strictly by hand, to guarantee the integrity of the fruit. A premature collection which contributes to the creation of a unique blend with exceptional organoleptic characteristics. All production phases are meticulously maintained in detail. Once the olives are collected, they are conferred to the mill within 12 hours and then bewildered in the latest generation plants. The next phase provides for the transport of oil in the company to be filtered and stored in stainless steel silos and stored with the entry of nitrogen in local at a constant and controlled temperature, this to better preserve the characteristics of the Green Gold of Sicily (Completed operations within 16/18 hours from the beginning of the collection). Completed the necessary phase of rest the oil is then bottled and labeled ready for sale and consumption.
