Myrsine: from legend in taste. The myrtle, for its beauty, its perfume and its medicinal properties is a plant that already in antiquity was decanted by all the peoples of the Mediterranean. The name of this precious myrtle liqueur draws its origin from a mysterious Greek legend. Myrsine was a splendid attic maiden, whose life hit by one of his companion won in gymnastic games. The goddess Pallade, to pass on the glory of an authentic heroin, transformed his young body into a sapling, to which his name was given. The true story of this myrtle is born from the care and fatigue of the owners and his collaborators who, supported by intense passion and love for this plant and its flavor, have believed in this production project. Each phase of the production chain is carefully controlled, analyzed and certified to guarantee an extreme quality product and complete traceability. Obtained from Campidanese berries, this myrtle, is full-bodied and very fragrant, painted by an intense violet color that inebriates the palate leaving a sweet flavor. In addition to the Mirto, the Myrsine company guarantees a wide range of liqueurs such as the ""Filu 'and Ferru"" of white pomace, the ""licorice"", the ""Limoncino"" made with the peel of lemons, the ""melon"", made with the Winter quality melons. Myrsine has created a new type of liqueur ""The Amaro Doliense"", made with herbal infusions based on mint, gentian and different orange qualities. Ulivo liqueur born from the union of citrus infusions with olive leaves infusion, intended scent of citrus fruits and intriguing and enveloping taste, expression of our territory called to cultivation of olive. In 2018 we made a new herbal liqueur ""bitter bitter"" to rediscover the Italian style of the liquor.
